Evangelist Joshua Abraham was born in 1st June, 1950,
in a small town of Kerala called Kozhencherry. He was raised in a Christian home and his family were and are active members of their local Marthoma church congregation. After completing his studies, as the financial situation at his home in Kerala was very grim, he moved to Bombay in search of a job. In the mean time he underwent a Computer Operations Training with International Computers Limited(ICL). After facing a lot of difficulties and challenges he managed to get himself a job as a Data entry operator. In the year 1971 he was able to get himself an excellent career opportunity in the renowned organization IBM WTC in Delhi and later on in Calcutta. On  15th January 1976 he married Jaya who belongs to the Kadvettoor family in Chengannur. He has a daughter Jemy and a son Jishi. Jemy is married to Boben and they have 3 children Aleena, Aden and Alden, and Jishi is married to Anju and is blessed with twin baby girls Jessica and Jenitta. In the year 1978 he  moved on to Dubai and secured a job with  the IT division of a large Trading Organization, where he worked as a Mainframe Operations and Support Executive. This was the period he encountered with the greatest challenge of his life, in the form of degenerative blindness. His doctors diagnosed that he is in the grip of the silent villain called Retinitis which gradually degenerates the retina to a state of full blindness. Although it was shocking and unacceptable, all medical treatments applied for the same went in vain. In the year 1987 he got an opportunity  to attend an Ecumenical Fasting prayer held at Dubai by Inter Denomination Christian Fellowship led by Sreshta Deivadasan(Spiritual Mentor) Babu Upadeshi and Br Mathew Vergis. It was a turning point  towards his spiritual life. The Lord Almighty revealed the need of Holy Spirit and showed  him  the importance of living a life that will honor the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit promised him through the Word of God, 2-Corinthians 12-9: My Grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Meanwhile his Eye sight deteriorated to the extent that  he had to take an early retirement in the year 1997 at the age of 47 and  returned back  to his hometown for good. The Lord strengthened him even at the time of his weakness and sufferings. In 1998, while him being a fully blind person the Almighty Lord anointed him as an Evangelist  through the holy guidance of Babu Upadeshi and the prayers of  many others. Isaiah 49-16: Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hand; thy walls are continually before me. An IDCF unit was started in Kozhencherry along with the support of his beloved wife Jaya, and ever since it is being emerged as a glowing lamp for many who are in darkness and in pain. In this Mission, the wholehearted help and sincere support by his dear friend Mr. M.A Mathew is commendable. This blog is a collection of the sermons delivered by Evangelist Joshua Abraham at various Prayer meetings.

God Bless You All.

PSALMS 119-18: Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. Amen.
